By combining the high resolution PCM1704 with the sweet sound of the 6922 valve, the DAC-60 combines the best of both worlds. Think of it like a hybrid amplifier, solid state backend with a valve frontend. The 6922 valve output stage takes the highly detailed sound (some consider it too clinical) of the PCM1704 and makes it very listenable by giving the sound an overall lush tone.

The DAC-60 is a true 24-bit DAC and is capable of sampling up to 96 kHz.
