Built like a tank.... this is Original's CD-2008 MKII CD Player. The MKII does denote that this player is infact the 2nd generation. This new model features a completely different circuit design, on the fore front is the new DAC chip which is capable of 192kHz/24-Bit sampling rates. Another feature worth mentioning is the addition of balanced XLR outputs, you simply won't find any other player on the market that features balanced output at this price point! If you have a amplifier with balanced input, this player will bring the most out of any recording.

The engineers at Original are very serious when it comes to power supplies, this is why you'll find the CD-2008 MKII having two power transformers. One for the analog stage and one for the digital and clocking circuitry. By keeping these power systems seperate, the CD-2008 MKII boasts very impressive jitter measurements. Furthermore, both transformers are contained in their own metal case to prevent any noise.

The CD-2008 MKII is entirely constructed from aluminium, all produced to perfection by CNC machines. Like the unit itself, the remote control receives the same treatment and is also constructed out of a solid piece of aluminium. No expense is spared when it came to producing the CD-2008 MKII!
