With a history of producing top quality Hi-Fi amplifiers (see V8i and V6i), Dussun are now catering for "compact-system" owners. The T2 is the updated version of the older U2 model and in addition to the cosmetic changes, all internal circuitry has been overhauled giving it more life in its music reproduction.
Dussun's T2 is a integrated stereo amplifier with passive preamp-stage and high-gain final power stage. The well-sized internal power supply of 200W enables the T2 to easily handle output powers of either 50W per channel @ 8ohms or 80W per channel @ 4ohms.
Bridging the gap between traditional Hi-fi and Pc based, the T2 features a dedicated USB DAC. The DAC uses a dedicated 8x oversampling design that is fed the SPDIF signal from the USB chipset, supplied from Texas Instruments and Burr-Brown. Its ultra low noise circuit perfectly reproduces the delicate details present in all types of music. It also has the beautiful bass that is a signature trait on all Dussun amplifiers. The T2 has a well defined sound that is controlled, dynamic, delicate and a soundstage that reveals every little detail.
The physical design of the T2 was a huge task in itself. It needed to provide sufficient cooling, compact footprint and simple styling. Constructed entirely out of aluminium, the T2 keeps the circuit cool and has a stylish and simple look. All controls are accessible from the front fascia and included is a headphone output!
Features like USB input and headphone output make the T2 the perfect component for your computer based Hi-Fi system. And with a power output of 80W per channel, speaker options are plentiful!
