The valve sound is being brought back to life for its rounder and smoother characteristics. A popular upgrade for the Ming Da MC34-B is replacing the 6L6 tubes with EL34 or 6CA7 tubes. COEM Audio Australia can do this upgrade free of charge (excluding the cost of the tubes, approximately $80 for Electro Harmonix EL34EH) for anyone purchasing the Ming Da MC34-B from us. This service includes biasing the new tubes to suit the amplifier. Worried about valve amps and their lifespan? Ming Da use point to point silver wiring internally without circuit boards. The sound is pure and untainted, as for the life of valves, most can last for for 10,000 hours with moderate conditions. Changing them is a matter of unplugging and plugging in the new one.
